BATCULA — PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: 18 September 2026

The short version. Batcula does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code. The only things it remembers are your scores and settings, and those never leave your device.

WHO THIS COVERS

This policy applies to the Batcula game, published for Android as com.sorin.batcula, and to the browser version at batcula.com.

WHAT THE GAME STORES

Batcula saves a small amount of game progress in your browser's or device's local storage. This is the complete list — there is nothing else:

Stored valueWhat it is
batcula.highscoreYour best score, kept separately for each difficulty
batcula.bestnightThe deepest night you have reached, kept separately for each difficulty
batcula.dawnescapesHow many times you have escaped the dawn
batcula.mutedWhether you have turned the sound off
batcula.audioHow loud you set the music
batcula.todayToday's date and score, so the daily run can be compared
batcula.modeWhich difficulty you last played
batcula.achievementsWhich achievements you have unlocked
batcula.totalsRunning totals the achievements count — villagers drained, perfect drains, wolves outrun, droplets caught

None of this identifies you. There is no name, no email address, no account, no device identifier and no advertising ID. It is stored on your own device and is never sent anywhere.

You can erase all of it at any time: uninstall the app, or clear the site data for batcula.com in your browser settings. Nothing is kept elsewhere, so there is nothing else to delete and nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

WHAT THE GAME DOES NOT DO

PERMISSIONS

Batcula asks for no access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, files, photos or any other personal information on your device.

The Android app declares one permission, INTERNET. This is added automatically by the framework the app is built with, and Batcula does not use it — the game makes no network connections. You may see it listed on the store page, so it is named here rather than left to look like an omission.

SHARING YOUR SCORE

The game over screen has a SHARE button. Pressing it either opens your device's own share sheet, or copies a few lines of text to your clipboard. The text contains your score and run statistics — nothing personal.

Batcula does not send this anywhere itself. If you choose to pass it on, it goes wherever you send it, and whatever app you share through has its own privacy policy that applies to that step.

CHILDREN

Batcula is a cartoon game with gothic horror themes. It collects no data from anyone, of any age. Because nothing is collected, there is nothing we could knowingly collect from a child.

THE APP STORE

If you installed Batcula from Google Play, Google collects its own information about the install — for example download and crash statistics — under Google's privacy policy, not this one. That happens whether or not an app collects anything itself, and we have no access to any of it beyond anonymous aggregate figures in the developer console.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

If a future version of Batcula ever collects or transmits anything, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change. Given the game is deliberately offline and self-contained, no such change is planned.
